Community Yard Sale Finds

This past weekend a very nice neighborhood held their semi-annual community yard sale.  We were so excited to go, especially because my sister is expecting her first baby in October.  These were our finds.

I found two sets of lacing cards, one being Melissa & Doug, at $3 total.  Also I have been on the hunt for more ABC puzzles and was excited to get the wooden and foam ones for $1 total.  The foam word cubes were $1 and will be great when Brylee begins to read and build sentences in a couple years.  She already likes playing with them, though, separating them by colors and building towers.  This ZOOB Jr. was $1 and a great connecting toy.  I paid under $8 for the toys, $2 for the books (including a brand new Disney reusable sticker book!), and $3 for all the clothes.

My sister only found this space saver high chair and a $2 curved changing pad.  The woman wanted $30 but when we started to walk away she said $25 was the lowest she could go.  It had only been used a few times and I have the same one which I love, so we took it.

We were kind of disappointed there wasn’t more baby stuff at the community sale but on the way home, we spied a multi-family garage sale still going on and the yard looked pretty full of baby stuff.  So we u-turned and I hopped out to check out their prices for my sister.  This is what we ended up getting:

We found this Fisher Price Jumperoo in excellent condition, completely working for only $10!!!  I had to ask the woman several times if she was sure $10 was enough.

I have this head and support snuzzler for our infant car seat and love it!  It is definitely needed for newborns, as it helps them fit better in the car seat and not get so lost.  My sister scored it for $5, not even used!!!

Every new mom needs a Bumbo, right?  We found this one at the same sale and in great condition.  The woman wanted $20 for it, which I thought was pretty high considering it sells for $40 brand new.  I offered her $10 and she came back at $15.  My sister decided to go ahead and get it, which is still a pretty good deal.

So for just $57, my sister was able to score a lot of great new baby stuff in amazing condition!!  It was indeed a great day!  :)
