Garage Sale Finds 7/24

I was able to go to a few garage sales this weekend while out and about.  This one above was a good find… I paid $4 for everything!  I’ve been on the lookout for a kitchen to put outside for the girls to do some awesome mud play.  But even used toy kitchens seemed to be a bit pricey just to put outside to get dirty.  So I was excited to find this little one for just $2!

I also grabbed some unopened heart cookie cutters, a handful of pipe cleaners, a flower lei, watering can, brand new cereal container, and a wind-up Christmas tree!  Pretty random.  :)

Not sure why the wind-up Christmas tree is in this picture again, but oh well. :)   This was an all kid/baby sale, with proceeds going to a children’s hospital.  The Perfection game was $1.50 and Brylee already has played it several times.  The gingerbread cookie cutters, magnetic letter tiles, jingle bell shaker, and new outlet covers were in a $0.25 box.  I’m super excited about the magnetic letter tiles!

Sorry for the horrible picture!  However, it’s just more books.  :)   And a brand new VeggieTales VHS and book on tape.  Both were $0.75 each.  The books were $0.25 each, including the hardback thick Presidents encyclopedia.  The Goosebumps books were $0.10 each and are something I plan on reselling.  The Clifford book is a board book and never been read, so it’s going in Cami’s stocking for Christmas.  ;)

I found a few clothing items at this same sale.  A dress from The Children’s Place and two sweatshirts are size 3T and were $0.50 a piece.  The long sleeve onesie is 6 months and for Hayleigh this winter (if she hasn’t outgrown it by then!).  The shoes are for Cami, sandals & Converse, and were $0.75 each.  I spent $8.40 at that sale and came home with a big box!

This coming weekend Hubby has off and we are already planning a serious garage sale day without the girls.  I’m already looking forward to it!  :)   Head over to My Life on a Taffy Pull, Southern Hospitality and Yard Sale Mommy to see more garage sale treasures!

    You got some great deals! We used to have that little kitchen- I had gotten mine at a garage sale too! (: Have fun on your kid-free garage sale-ing day! And thanks for your comment on my blog! Your blog looks awesome! I am your newest follower. (;

      Aw, thanks, Leslie! We don’t get to garage sale often either because of hubby’s schedule so I am really looking forward to this weekend! I hope you can find some other times to go as well. The prices just can’t be beat! :)

    Great finds Carolyn! My husband is off this week too and he’s already hinted at going garage saling with me! Maybe we’ll leave all the children at home too, except the baby of course, that would be SO fun! You found some great stuff!

      hehe, we are taking the baby with us too! I love that another couple loves to go garage saling together. Whenever I go without my hubby, I think he gets a little jealous. He already told me that we are doing “serious” garage saling this weekend. Love him! Thank you stopping by! I can’t wait to see how we do with our husbands in tow this weekend. :)

    I love the ‘random’ assortment of stuff. :) It’s so fun to bring things home with so many different purposes in mind.

    You ladies have fun with your hubbys this weekend! Mine really doesn’t care for it all that much. BUT, he doesn’t mind me going and doesn’t mind watching the kids if I want to go on a Saturday….so that’s really nice. :)

  4. Ooo fun!! We found a perfection game a few weeks back, but it didnt have all the pieces so we didnt get it. Love that game! Great find on the kitchen, too!
