Mission of the Month: April

Mission of the Month

I saw this awesome accountability idea over at Mama Jenn: Raising Five Kids & Everything in Between.  Every month she posts her goals for that upcoming month as well as her accomplishments from the previous month.  And I thought.. what a great accountability tool!

So here I go…

  • Wash & put away all newborn – 3 month clothing & cloth diapers.
  • Wash & wipe down infant car seat, ready to be installed into van.
  • Wash/wipe down boppy pillows, bouncing seat, & play gym.
  • Find dresser for master closet & organize clothing.
  • Go through all paperwork piles & file/toss.
  • Pack hospital bag by Easter!

And for hubby…

  • Hang rods & curtains in playroom.
  • Secure bathroom over-the-toilet shelving to wall.
  • Hang up shelf in master bathroom.
  • Take down destroyed blinds in front room, hopefully replacing with new ones!
  • Hang rods & curtains in girls’ room.

Hayleigh’s due date is May 19th, so I am hoping to be ready by Easter.  I am also hoping to get a few things accomplished around the house before she comes, since I’m not sure how crazy 3 kids under 3 is going to be once she is here.  :)

That is so exciting to be bringing home a baby soon! I am new to your blog-found you from Mamma Jenn’s. But 3 under 3- I am assuming they are all yours? I can’t wait until I have a little more time and I can read more! Good luck getting all of your stuff done! And I hope your hubby’s checklist gets done as well! :)

Aw, thank you!! (I just recently found Mamma Jenn’s site and love it!) Yes, they are all mine. The second one, we got pregnant pretty quickly after the first was born and then the second was born almost a whole month early.. so they are only a year apart. (You can read more about our story here http://www.apurposedrivenhome.com/?p=8). I really wouldn’t have it any other way, though… they are so close. Glad to have you here and checking out the site! Going to check out yours now. :)

I hope we can accomplish our lists as well! It’s just a matter of getting started, right?? Love your blog, especially the part on chickens! Hubby really wants to get some, so we have been looking a lot into it. I’ve got to share your blog with him. :)

I’m visiting from Mama Jenn too. 3 under 3 wow!!! I hope you are able to get everything done and get some rest sometime before your newest blessing arrives!

    • Carolyn says:

That is the hard part… getting it all done AND resting. I told my hubby I need an assistant. :) Thanks so much for visiting!!! Going to check your blog out now!

Thanks for joining in Carolyn! I love that you included your hubby’s goals as well! :-) As you know, children are a blessing, even when you have 3 under 3! I can remember when I had 3 under 3 and then 5 under 5. Life was crazy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything! :-)
