Mold and mildrew… blech. So disgusting. Daily I am surprised how it slowly builds up in various areas around our house. One place I notice it daily is the bathroom tub. Specifically on the rubber bath mat and the shower curtain liner. But alas, last night I solved my mildew dilema while also getting the bathtub squeaky clean. This is my Tub Cleaning 3 in 1 method:
1. Unhook shower curtain and liner from rod hooks.
2. Throw shower curtain in washer on gentle cycle.
3. Throw mildewy curtain liner in bathtub on top of mildewy rubber bath mat.
4. Fill bathtub with warm water and some bleach. (Pour bleach slowly to avoid splashes!) *The picture shows my tub draining. It was filled more than halfway.
5. Let soak overnight and…
Tada! A squeaky clean, mildew-free shower liner, rubber bath mat, and bathtub! An added bonus… your shower curtain is also fresh and clean. The best part… no elbow grease involved!
